When will this be addressed? It is bad enough that sometimes you have mismatched teams, but having this obvious disadvantage is very discouraging. 7 vs. 8 has happened 3 times in only 7 matches today.. What gives. Is there a timer that just cuts off when people are added?
Thanks

From what I've seen, its normally when a 4 man has a player disconnect while loading the game.
And since the server has already fetched 16 players, it isn't able to grab another pug? Something to that effect.

I had an 8 v 7 earlier too.
Also a match where FOUR enemies disconnected and our ***** team still lost to a base cap.

This, but I don't think it's limited to premades.

I have seen players with illegal mechs (over tonnage, missing engine, etc) get dropped from match, leaving a vacancy. and I have heard that players who edit their map files (to avoid playing specific maps) will also leave a vacancy.
That being said I have only seen one 7v8 drop in a long time.

My understanding is that editing map files no longer works. The game now checks for inconsistencies with the current build while loading (game not match) and patches to correct the files. While the game is running, the files can't be altered. At least that's what they said they were doing and the number of DCs at launch dropped dramatically.
