small lasers need a range buff and so do the pulse ones i think.

They already got one.

And they got a damage buff.

Time to try something else.....

It sucks that damage and heat are the easiest things for the devs to change so that's their go-to move. 1 second beam duration for Lpls is dumb.

The only thing that I use Small pulses on is a Jenner D for small mech combat.

MPL's are extremely effective at killing an enemy once you get the armor off it's torso. I use a BJ-1X (I'm pretty sure its' the 1x anyhow) that has 4 MLs grouped 2 per hand and 2 MPLs one in the LT and one in the RT that is extremely effective at medium to close range. The 2 MPLs are used almost exclusively after the a torso section has been exposed. They hit slightly harder than the medium lasers, the beam duration is shorter, and there better closer in than the mediums due to range limits, and as a consequence the damage you do to exposed sections or torso is done far more efficiently by MPLs.
