Hi All,

The patch notes claimed to have fixed missing texture issues. However, I still have the buildings and rock outcrops on Frozen City Night flickering between solid gray and proper building textures (or just solid gray) in some matches. The issue pre-patch occurred only on Frozen City and Frozen City Night (that I noticed) and since the patch I have only noticed it on Frozen City Night. However, it does not occur every match on these maps, just most of them.

I have the same issue and this patch seems to have made it worse. Another player I know has the same complaint. It is both frozen city maps for me.

Ditto here (more or less). I didn't seem to notice that it was any worse on Frozen City Night, but it's definitely still there, and still pretty bad, on my 650 Ti machine.

I never did play Forest City Day last night, so I can't speak to that.

If I have time tonight I'll check to see how the patch plays on my 6870 machine.

Nothing has changed for me, frozen city night still has all sorts of broken textures almost every time.

Go to C:\ ~ \Pirahna Games\Mechwarrior Online\USER folder. There is a folder called 'Shaders.' Delete that and restart the game. (MWO will automatically recreate the folder upon next launch).

^ did that fix months ago, never had the texture problem again, and I used to have it almost every game.

A couple of thoughts
(1) Have you run the patcher to see if it is a corrupted file issue (I know, probably unlikely, but . . .)
http://mwomercs.com/...public-release/
(2) Have you submitted a support ticket with screenshot(s) attached?
(3) Have you checked to see if it is in the known issues tree and, if it is, commented there?

Good luck with resolution.

A different problem with frozen city is that middle-distant buildings have open horizontal slits in their roofs. Especially obvious with thermal vision. A problem with the lower LOD meshes on frozen and frozen night.

The MWO Repair Tool can do this for you are as well in case you are lazy. It might find other problems too, if you have corrupted files.

Ditto seeing issue. GTX 470. I do see less flickering in general and yes I deleted my shaders cache.

Note that the shaders cache should be deleted when the game patches. Its not like it takes much time to rebuild it.

I've had this problem for more than 6 months. And no, deleting the shaders cache doesn't help. Used to be that most of the people complaining had AMD cards (i've got a 6850) but it appears the Nvidia guys aren't immune either. In some of the Q&A they have put the blame on driver issues but I'm not sure I'm buying that anymore.

I miss those textures too from time to time.
Tryed Catalyst 13.4 & 13.6 beta. Deleted shaders more often then I started the game.
Sometimes the textures are loaded, sometimes not.

Same problem here, deleted shader cache numerous times, ran the repair tool without findings. Mostly happens on Frozen City buildings and rocks, but sometimes also on Alpine buildings.

Cat 13.4, but happened with previous versions as well.

Today I played several hours without missing textures after setting everything to very high and I removed the framelimit command from my user.cfg (didn't work well anyway, fps set to 30 resulted in 31-32 frames ingame, maybe because of v-sync).
I did the framelimit in the first place to save some watts and get lower temps, today I cleaned my fans a little bit (30° in my room -.-) and now, like I said above, it runs better and without missing textures.

I would be glad if I helped someone with my observations.

Frozen's buildings have this issue since the first appearances of the map and the tool can't do a mess about it.

Missing textures are less common after the J16th patch, but the problem is still present. Missing textures on Frozen City and Alpine.

I delete shader folder every patch and every now and then.
Repair tool never finds any problem.
I scan .pak files in \game folder with 7z for errors (there are none).
Defragment drive and Piranha folder every patch and every now and then.

Some other people have resolved this problem by doing the following. please see this thread http://mwomercs.com/...no-objects-ati/

my issue is resolved. I completely uninstalled MWO and then reinstalled in on a different hard drive. Now I have my objects back. I really hope it gets resolved for you, if you have another hard drive on your computer you may want to try it. I also installed it with the typical settings.
