Hmm. Would be interesting to know if the phoenix mechs will have the same hitbox as the standard variants, because especially Locust and Thunderbolt have a bigger model with the added shoulder protectors and arm wings.

This is the best I could figure out for the Locust...

The engine restriction is fairly damning, since with a 170XL you can't fit Endo, Ferro, and DHS (well, not if you have more than 5 crits of weapons+ammo). Of the three, DHS is the obvious drop, since with only one energy hardpoint the Locust really can't run very hot.

A much better Locust.

Says it all, when pouring all your available tonnage into a single energy hardpoint and heatsinks is better than having four machine guns...

It is quite sad but so very true, that 2mg 1ammo, 1 ERLL, xl170 is the only sane build to drive and I will be on that bandwagon, 4mg and 1 mpl/ml is serviceable sure but getting in weapons range is just suicidal and the firepower is so small you better hope your target is a earless a1 or an armless deathsknell.

The only other option would be xl170 1ERLL 1ams with 2 tons of ammo. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...736a232083724a6

If only they would do away with the 10 heat sink requirement for the 20ton mechs the builds could be better like this for example http://mwo.smurfy-ne...3b8bda3e4a52d74

Its thanks to this extremely limited machinegun variant as to why I didnt bother getting the talon package.

Unseen mechs with an original Macross paint scheme, nice. Let me go get my wallet.

Give me a VF-1 dropping air strikes and I'll finally buy that module, too.

I like the phoenix camo, its quite striking without being over-the-top.

Although... am I the only one who feels like the 'overlord', 'storm', 'talon' etc logos would have been better as global decal unlocks? It'd be a great time to introduce the decal system for camo specs.

they arn't even close to having decals done though which is another reason why i'm skeptical about these
