Unless Alex has already named it,

I dub thee Sir Henry Philosoraptor III
DinoSir mount to what is obviously a concept artwork for the upcoming Hero Urbanmech.

LOL.....he has a cape!

I love urbanmech =)

This would be the greatest tattoo a person could get.......because it would 1up all other intimidating tattoos.......and folks would demand an explination.

An urbie.....on a t-rex......with uzi's...... my mind has been blown. When they make urbie for real I hope you could add this image on his barrel .......I want all my mechs to have this decal.

UZI-TREX Urbanmech hero confirmed! -_-

One problem with the ball turret is that due to the range of motion on the ball turret, it would have to have its aiming crosshair be the arm crosshair, not the torso crosshair. Since I kind of doubt they are going to upset the balance like that, I doubt the Wolverine will end up getting the turret. Rather I expect it to get some sort of forward fixed hardpoint there that might look something like a turret but won't be.

****, I'm tired of watching people defend their ridiculous old art style mechs, times are changing, deal with it. Mechs with oversized cockpits, guns in mech's heads, pistols in their hands... ridiculous. This guy is improving the design of the mechs in order for them to become more realistically viable. The mech designs of this Alex guy are awesome, some of the best mechs I've seen, no doubt.
Some time ago I was reading people complaining about the new battlemaster cockpit being too small... Is it me or people is getting more and more stupid? what is the point of going to the front line with a mech with a barn sized cockpit??

Oh, and **** your old mech art style. It's horrible.

I like the blurry, hardly legible drawing.

Actually I do. I think it looks good. Despite MWOs mechs recieving the occasional criticism on design, they overall are a great take on classic designs. Did I already mention I really like MWOs mech designs ;).

alex does an amazing job. These mechs look phenomenal from the front. but a lot of these humanoid mechs have a serious case of the flat back. some diagonal shapes would be really cool. \____/ instead of straight up _____ for the backs u know?

the fronts are very interesting. but lets give the mech's backs some personality too to make it distinguishable and interesting from every angle

I don't disagree, but the Wolverine sketch looks to be somewhat diagonal as you describe, does it not?

P.S. Even your sketches are epic, Alex!

I'm hoping for Wolverine-7H deal with the laser where it's mounted directly above the head... Hunchback/Awesome taken a step further.... just imagine equipping a flamer in that spot. :)

If I'm not mistaken cannon says the Wolverine is known for carrying everyones lunch in its circa 19th century GI Joe, case equipped lunch box.

Unfortunately they've lost the matching thermos, pretty sure someone else has the rights it.

that dynamite is going to be super useful

as well as the knife. to cut the fuse in case he accidentally set off that dynamite underwater.

Obviously, the dynamite is for blowing up the coral reef. The knife is to stab/destroy the COBRA B.A.T. robot soldiers that may or may not be hiding underneath the reef.
