no idea where to put this so I'm putting it here in the hopes it actually gets seen this time. I'm having crashing/freezing issues about every 3 matches or so and its been happening for the past week, no idea what the hell is causing it either.

anyone else have these issues? I've already tried a full reinstall and nothing has changed

Run the repair tool, although it may not have any effect since you did a reinstall http://mwomercs.com/...public-release/

Try new display drivers, or if you recently updated, try to roll back your old display drivers.

collect your crash dump file(s) when you crash and send them to support@mwomercs.com

In addition to the repair tool that Red mentioned, if you are running an Nvidia card, try to stay away from beta drivers and just use released drivers.

actually, everybody i play with is having the same problem. i used to lock up in game all the time, had to task manager my way out. i have an old computer and run at the minimum requirements. last patch helped me though, most of the time i lock up now, it unfreezes and i can resume play, but i do occasionally get droped from the client at launch, but not as often.

I'd use the MWO repair tool, check and make sure your drivers are up to date with the release version, try playing in full window mode (it's in options in game), and using the max fps command in your user.cfg (see linked thread).

When you did a reinstall did you uninstall and then delete any left over game files or just install on top of them?
