Over the past while I have seen the same thing over and over again. While other light mechs will fall under a barrage, the Spider is nearly invulnerable. The hit detection issues with this mech makes it impossible to damage them. Repeatedly I see lances dropping hundreds of LRMs, streaks, laser fire and even direct hits with AC or PPC fire (red circle on reticle too) with absolutely no effect. A single Spider can destroy an entire team if there is no opposing spider to counter it, now if one team has 2 or more Spiders, well it is just hopeless.

No, no, and hell no.
And did you really have to create a new thread on the exact same topic?

Agreed with Mystere on this part (indifferent on the spider front) - if you feel the need to comment on this, please use an existing thread . . . .

You're just being absolutely ridiculous.
Thread reported for being a waste of electrons.

Try using pulse lasers: they really chew up spiders. I think half of the spider problems are really just them being hard to hit anyway, and you can't kill them easily with streaks anymore.

And while you are at it, take the ECM version out until 3067 (in 2030 our time) or later when the ECM version, the -7Kr (a freaking Jihad era mech) appears.
