After doing the new Windows 10 update (the big one) and updating my Nvidia drivers for Fallout 4 I was getting very poor FPS and a lot of MWO crashing. Absolutely NUTS - so I did a bunch of digging, updating, adjusting, and finally came up with the below, which gave me back over 100fps (testing grounds FPS, normally like 330fps when not moving).

- Launch Xbox app
- Go to "Settings"
- Go to DVR and set it to "off"
- Close Xbox app
- Restart MWO
- Enjoy returned FPS

If you can't find it or have issues post back here. Again, this isn't a cure-all, but it helped me immensely and it resolved the same issue on my Wife's computer (same build as mine, 3770k @ 4.8 with 2 980's). I read that this was always an issue with the xbox app, but I only noticed it after this last patch, where the DVR features somehow got switched on.

The xbox app was there before the update, but looks like it switched on after the Win 10 update - that was the killer for me.
3dMark score dropped from the high 14000's to just over 6000. I will freely admit to being quite frustrated.
