Why should I play or even pay for anything when 50% of my mechs weapons won't deal damage. Unload 50 shots of Uac5 into a jenner only 10% missing.... unload 75 shots into an atlas cored out and torso about to fall off. maybe 3 shots were registered. Not even to mention Gauss or anything thats not lasers.

From what I'm seeing players with pings over 100 don't even try to shot at. The Shots won't registered a hit regardless of leading the shot an or shooting them standing still. But god forbid they shot me HSR works for them but not for players with low ping?Also If you shoot a ppc on a raven with ECM the ECM will go off and be disrupted but the mech will take no damage.....?

PGI every patch Hit detection gets worse and worse use to be maybe 1 shot in 30 that your weapons might not register now its 45% of my shots deal no damage even though the shots connected.

Yesterday for the first time, i saw somebody streaming do 0 damage the whole game thanks to the bad hit reg.

No words for PGI really no words :| On the battlefield dominate PPCs and LRMs boats, if you try to brawl most of your shots wont register, andsome fkin ppc/lrm boat will drawn you with ground, if they dont fix HSR on 30th July, PPC/LRM stalker is only way…

Probably won't be fixed this Tuesday because they said that it was a difficult issue to address so I'd imagine that it will be a while until it gets fixed. At least it is not nearly as bad as it was before HSR got implemented (at least not for me).
Since it is an aknowledged issue, all we can do is wait until PGI work their magic like they did with those HUD bugs some months ago.

They've been "addressing it" for 14 months, and it keeps getting worse.



Not too promising for Tuesday.

My Hitreg is getting worse and worse every day it seems. It is actually getting to the point were some matches i am getting the old stuttering of weapon sounds again (those in closed beta will remember this) However my Ping is perfectly fine, so some kind of packet loss or something going on there. then drop in the next match its slightly better. I think some might have to do with borked servers combined with buggy HSR code.

The thing is, when HSR for energy and ballistics was first brought out it worked BEATIFULLY and I felt like a god being able to hit what i shoot at. Now? it sworse then before HSR, why? Because without HSR at least i had to lead a consistent amount, now, its variable, so one time i have to lead, next time i dont.

I think it depends on serverload neither it works correctly or not. Every evening round 21.00-24.00 on our local time, there is serious problems w/ HSR. That timewindow is also when US/CAN/all-American players seriously come online with us europeans.
Solution has been to take lead as there wasn't HSR at all :rolleyes:
