you just had to, huh? :) Call it Mr. Selfdestruct or just The Nuke.

I could go with this: BLR-1G
All-range fighter with decent speed, high alpha and nearly full armor.

Way to hot my friend. Either drop the gauss, or the LRM 15(i would take LRM 15)

Then with the ammo you are 9 tonnes lighter. Remove the endo steel and use the remaining space + tonnage for heatsinks

BLR-1G

Like this! altough i am an Gauss/PPC hater.............

Depends on the Mech, XL works great in a Victor and can be used in an Awesome too.
There are also some viable Highlanders with XLs. It's a no-go for Atlas and Stalker though.

To be honest I wasn't really serious with my build, but yeah Endo is mostly useless in an Assault and I'm no Gauss+PPC lover too, but your build can work really good.

I wouldn't go for an XL engine in an Assault mech, you'll just pop if you want to brawl with it.

The question of XL vs. standard in the Battlemaster is a big one. Personally to me, the thing looks like it's got ginormous side torsos, plus it can lose a torso and still have Gauss/Autocannon + SRM6 + 3 Medium Lasers. Or the other 3 lasers and a PPC. So it can still do plenty after losing either side, which indicated Standard.

Then again, it also runs hot meaning you need extra space for heatsinks, and the extra crit spaces from large XL engines helps with that. And TBH with killer hardpoints and a sleek 85 tons, the BLR can run some pretty damned terrifying loadouts at surprisingly high speeds. I get the feeling that both will be viable, but as much as it pains me to admit, the 2 AC/5, 6 MLAS, SRM6, PPC/LLAS builds that can move at almost 80 km/h seem absolutely terrifying, and pretty much require an XL.

I went with a basic upgrade for the Shadow Hawk. Range and speed for flanking (assuming it will be possible). I used to play the Kurita 3025 a lot in PnP..

Not optimised, but felt the SRMs were better as back up rather than keeping the LRMs. It very much depends on what the meta is like when they come out.
I just hope its not too big with bad hitboxes making it another Kintaro.

My exact build, except I'll most likely forego the AMS and upgrade the arm laser to a pulse one, time will tell.

Pretty ****** variant if you ask me. That many ballistic slots is only useful for an attempt at dakka and then all your firepower is in one component.

you gotta go with what you get, and that means changing how you look at your resources in different ways. if you go through this thread, you'll see people have come up with a plethora of diverse uses for the 2H already.

Shadowhawk layout reminds me of the Bushwacker. I know what to do with that one. :)
