Entry level ELO (skill assessment score) is filled with some snot-nosed kids that scorn the new player's very existence because they, too, are on the same level. Worse, they can't get out of it because they are so awful.

Try not to let them get to you.

If you need help getting up or down from that let us know. I can help you go up higher.

Don't worry about the ELO, just play for fun, eventually you will find some good friends in game. Don't hesitate to ask for help with mechs and tactics here

Cant agree more, ask for help and there's plenty of folks who will try and do so! In game just like any other online game players can be.. difficult, but in my experience if you just let people know your new they will try and give advice if they can.
