Well except for Steaks being totally broken now with the nerf....errr...I mean fix. I would say load it up and test it out.

You could also consider maybe dropping the engine back down and replace those streaks with a couple SRM6s.

My choice:

Funny my Streaks behave as they should. That is a SRM2 that tracks the target... When was the last time you used a SRM2

try someething like this i run this mech more or less witht the armor tweaked slightly and i have no problems with speed (assuming you can get it elited) from the smaller engine and with the greatly increased burst damage and heatsinks you should be able to keep up constant fir from srms and the lbx 10s with occasional burst ffrom the med lasers (or chainfire if you prefer that 4 of them work well chained)

all this being said i prefer a similar build with the DDC that looks like this]

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...77c0641db0e77b3

it sacrifices two med laser and two dbl heatsinks for an extra srm 6 and the huge utility from ecm but the srm generates lees heat than med laser x2 so you wont notice the loss of the two heatsinks once again speed is acceptable when elited and i guarantee you will have a much better alpha than anyone else can sustain with the heat sink to fire 4- 5 of them in a row

Drop down one engine size (there is ZERO reason to use a 355 over a 350, the 1/mph speed increase is not worth 2.5 tons), shave some useless armour off the arms and legs (you'll always lose a side before you lose an arm) and switch the streaks to SRM6s. Not only will you do more damage, but the double scatter punch of the SRMs will fit the theme of your double barrelled build!

Also, I'm sure you've probably heard it before, but LBXs are not that great. You would be much better off with an AC20. But to each there own. Swapping out the LBXs for an AC20 would let you mount double LLAS on the arms though - http://mwo.smurfy-ne...df71dc968d2d014

If you want to do this build, a D-DC is way better for the dual LB10X and triple SRM6 combo. Plus you get ECM to help you close against LRM boats. Thats one of the two Atlas builds I used to win #1 Assault in the first tournament. That was back before the sniping meta though...

Honestly though I think youre much better off with an AC/20 in the current meta. LB10Xs are great sustained DPS weapons, but the problem is, with all the PPCs flying around, youll be dead before you can rack up the DPS.

It is great they track the target, however I need them to hit the Torso where it might actually kill the mechs I am shooting at. Watching them fly off to hit an arm or leg when all it would take is a stiff breeze to finish off my enemies bright red CT slot and dying because it happened 3 times in a row...well...yeah...not so much.

A close in fighter; I love the LBX10 Scattershot so two would be awesome. Think of the sound that lot would make if fired together; plus you would gain an insight into what an LBX20 Scattershot will be like when we get it. Personally I would like to see an even bigger version, maybe an LBX40 Scattershot!
