just in case anyone was wondering about the authenticity with Paul...yes we sent out 500 today. Sorry for those still waiting, but just remember you will get into this game before summer ends one way or the other and in the meantime were trying to make it the best MechWarrior game ever.

Fix your processes. Active people and such should get in. Youll have a much higher quality of reports. Random never works out well. This is not game preview its supposed to be beta.. You want active people on a varity of systems. And to weed out the play-testers create mandatory surveys or reports.

That's what we did when we did alpha and beta for our games when i was a game dev.

Russ... you guys have made one very fatal error. You didn't hire someone from Calgary, (I.E. ME!) to help create one of the greatest titles (yes, read titles, as in game title), of all time.

In all seriousness though, we're looking forward to an amazing experience whenever we get in.

For the record, I'm from Newfoundland though, not Calgary.

agreed. I am betting most people in the beta now never been in beta nor ever filled out a detailed bug report for issues identified during testing.

Wait... active? You have 20 posts, how are you active, what because you 'were' a game dev? What game did you develop?

I think the random works well, you have a bunch of players who are new to MW, have not played in years, vets, etc. It might not be 100% random, they might also be trying to get min and recommended system requirements as well.
