So i have a typical jm6 a build i run focused on close range burst and burning though assault/heavy cores but some feedback is always nice i cant think of everything ;)

i like where the ammo and heat efficiency is at but im a little up in the air if i should take a little more armor off or even add some more on especially with legs/arms

If it were me, I'd take out a ton of SRM ammo and put more armor in the legs. I'm also someone who tends to regard Machine Guns and AMS as dead weight, but I think there's actually a case to be made for AMS at the moment.

I just couldn't bring myself to run a mech with so little armor. If you have the same name in game as in the forums, anyone who reads this thread and sees you in game in that mech is going to aim for your legs. That ammo in those legs would most likely explode once they get through that thin armor and it will either instantly kill you, or spread right to your torso internals.

This would run hotter, but you'd probably live longer.

Or if you want more speed you could run something like this...

Why are people still mixing 3 SRM6 with an SRM4?

If you fire them all at the same time you run the same heat penalty now as if you fire 4xSRM6s.

Might as well upgrade the SRM4 to another SRM6.

It's a breath of fresh SRM's. With heat containment and elite skill unlocked it has 44% HC.
