I had BAP equipped and was standing about 50m from a shutdown Spider 5D and I couldn't see him on my radar. River City (day). He was in the bunker and I was standing above him. Intended or not?

You only thought you were 50m from a shutdown spider...if you would have tried to shoot him you would have realized that was his hologram decoy. The actual spider was 200m Behind you with his stealth system engaged lining up his ERPPC shot to your rear center torso.

I for one welcome our tiny unkillable overlords.

I did end up killing the guy point blank. Still no detection. He say to me "aw..u found me." Yeh, no thanks to BAP.

If you don't have true LOS on the target, you cannot target him, even with BAP. BAP does not let you detect shutdown mechs that you don't have LOS on.

It's kinda like some of those shielding plates of sorts in Tourmaline... where you can see the other target but not actually target them. It's the same idea. There are see-through walls, but you can't actually target through them like that.

I'm afraid It is working as intended™.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I guess that's fair for 1.5T.
