Greetings MechWarriors!

Due to a server hardware upgrade, tomorrow's downtime will be longer than usual, and is ESTIMATED to take from 10am PDT to 1pm PDT. This will mean the forums will be down longer as well.

We look forward to you guys getting your hands (crosshairs?) on the patch, and we'll see you on the battlefield!

Cheers, The MechWarrior Online Team

I hope we get the patch notes before the server goes down.

And i hope, in the patchnotes there are three lines that say:

- Fixed Hitbox issue on Spider Mechs
- Fixed Hitbox issue on Centurion Mechs
- Fixed Hitdetection bug

I wouldn't count on it. If it is I'll be suprised. The stated in AtD43 that the vast majority of big features are going to hit the test server before they ever see the light of day on the main servers.

Would be nice to get the patch notes before so we can all use the time to read and form our complaints before even seeing the patch in effect ;P

Stop shooting them in damaged arms/side torsos. This is intentional damage reduction for damage moving through destroyed components. (which the Centurion has notably large ones)

If you can't hit the CT, shoot them in the leg.

Thank you in advance for the new map. From the video it looks to be a doozy with both lit and dark areas. Also curious to see how the lava comes into effect(if any).

Server hardware upgrades are welcomed, especially if they can alleviate hit reg issues.

I'd say it's in the realm of possibility that this is a 12 v 12 upgrade, or priming for it after another test on the new hardware.

could also be implimentation of the community friendly aspects of UI 2.0 (assuming a potential phased rollout)

Really hoping this is the patch where hit detection gets fixed!

Put my Overlord money to good use and let me nail those light 'mechs with an AC/20!

That last one's true, but those first two are you asking for them to hold your hands as you aim.

I was just about to buy 3 days of premium since it's on sale. Can I get those three hours of premium back since the servers will be down during the time I was planning to play?

Garth, will you please tell us if this will result in any kind of ping/hit detection improvement on our end?

I'd rather they pleasantly surprised us rather than make a statement they may only get bashed with later.
