Because obviously I don't understand how they work.
I mean, I was told that 5 SRM6 should deal 60 damage. Unless some of them miss the target, sure, but I can't see any going stray in this little video.
So, would you take a look for me and tell me what am I supposed to do to deal damage? Cause obviously I am missing something important. Thanks in advance.

SRMs do 2 damage per missile that hits. So if you happen to get all 6 to hit you do 12 damage per SRM6.
Your chance to land them all on the same component is low and with the hit failures it's even less.
Btw my accuracy with SRM6s is about 42%, so I get slightly less than half max damage when using them.

Did you take a look at the video, Shadey99? That's quite important.

Missile hit detection don't work - it probably only looked like a hit on your client.
I advise using PPC + Gauss because the hit detection on that is pretty good.

MWO hit-registration fails. Pure and simple. Especially when PGI is trying to run 2 servers at the same time.
Here is a tip: Don't expect to hit anything when Test servers are live during prime time.

I saw your first hit strike him across the arm, torso, and leg because he torso twisted.... Probably half if that of your missiles hit. The second you shot lots of air and the missiles shot over his head...

Yeah, no offense but your video is rather inconclusive in regards to your claim. The first shot seems to have mostly hit the arm and right torso.
That being said, I put a 56 point srm shot into a Trebuchet's back the other day, both sides and the center exclusively, and only managed to turn each the first shade of yellow. Sadly, I have no video evidence, but the hit registration has been acknowledged as being problematic. They're looking into it...
