Don't listen to this guy. The Victor is like a slow Dragon, or a lightly armored Highlander

You can poptart with them, but Highlanders do that better, and you can hit and run with them, but Dragons do that better...

I won't argue that it's a bad mech, because it isn't, but it feels... mediocre. Like Ryu after all of those damn nerfs...

(He dropped like a rock in the tier lists after AE 2012 came out... I stopped following them a while back, but I doubt that's changed all that much, if at all).

Victor is alright it just how you play them of course they are 20 tons lighter then the Atlas but there made to brawl put a XL Engine 370+ in them and a Gauss Rifle and 2 PPC or 2 ERPPC's and some SRMS or LRMS and you will do fine just look at some video's of people playing a Victor with surprising performance.

I even bought my Victor VTR 9K cause it wrecked havoc after watching some people play them in spectate.

350XL is plenty to get to wrecking.

Gauss or AC20 to preference, 3 SRM6, add 2 Mediums and shake.

The one thing to note is that while eminently playable from the start, unlocking their pilot tree makes HUGE difference in it's ability.

Don't mistake a Victor for a tank cause it says assault on the mech class which it can take hits but not like a Atlas but the Victor is more for dps then a tank.

i suggest the victor. it has the right combination of armor, speed, weapon loadout. i have highlanders and my performance with my victors has surpassed them. look for my Hail to the Victors! thread as it contains several loadout configurations.

That's cause PGI broke them with ridiculous loadout capabilites like they did the stalkers.

Highlander or Victor.

I'm leaning towards the Victor.

I like both the Highlander and the Victor. However, I run my Highlanders mainly as JJ lrm boats and the Victor as a 2 erppc+gauss. The Highlander 733 can do both, 4 lrm 15 or 2 lrm 20 + 2 lrm 15 or the popular 2 (er)ppc + gauss. However, since the 733 has its lasers in the torso that is a consideration. The Victor can run the 2+1 in any variant, reason I just kept one ultimately.
