- Edit- Well, just realized that every Mechwarrior game I have played so far has had some form of 3pv......lol.
- After seeing the 3pv in action its not that bad at all. It seems to almost be a disadvantage in some cases.

Because the game has a low population because PGI is incredibly bad at meeting deadlines and adding new content. So the first batch of people who loved the idea of the game left in droves and they are having trouble keeping numbers up.

So they are introducing 3PV to rope in the mouth breathers who can't play this game in first person without running into the walls and asking how to throw grenades.

Exactly. I already know I'll have no desire to play it much, but expanding the potential market is only a good thing as it won't force me to use it.

So expanding the market while completely obliterating a core pillar of the game's design. While lying to the fan who have been feeding them money for a year for a beta that still missing half of the promised content and features is a good thing?

I see your point. There is nothing else they should be focusing on when they could be ******* in the face of the people who kept them alive when any other game and franchise would have gone under. If not for the BT fan's money.

Honestly, if you are an opponent of 3PV you SHOULD test it out and give feedback.

Its not going to be forced, you can play either way. Hope that it does not give advantage is all I ask. if you look at the feedback questions that what they are asking so the more who test and say yes it does it might get shelved till they can implement it with out a advantage.

Welp just tried it.

The death of the simulator game is complete. There is massive massive field of vision increase. Aside from the loss of the minimap. You have all relevant information and cursor to aim with.

So, is 3pv mode still going to be a separate game mode, or are we going to be forced to use it unless we want to be at a disadvantage? Can anyone post screenshots of this travesty?
