Isnt it time do actually do something about the gazillions of Kerensky, Grey Death, Phelan Kells and so on?
PGI stated before that they would not allow canon names but they have done nothing to stop it so far.

How About Pgi Actually Started To Enforce Their Naming Policy?

Considering "Kerensky" is a blood-name and can be earned, that's not really an issue unless combined with certain first-names. The others I definitely agree with.
Expect someone with one of the supposedly "restricted names" to show up shortly and the trolling to begin...

There's no PvE in the game, so it doesn't really matter what players call themselves; it's basically just a shooter with some irrelevant fluff tacked on (at least in the current state of the game).

Yes it is really immersion breaking to fight along side Natasha Kerensky and Phelan Kell.
My lance mates xXKicka55Xx and Ieatyourbaby completely agree with me.

Where was that policy announced? I remember they said player-controlled units (CW mercenaries) couldn't take canon names but nothing about player names (personally I would prefer believable names / callsigns; I will take canon names over KinkyPanda108...).

To be honest, I dont think its nice to fight alongside Natasha Kerensky or Phelan Wolf/Kell whatever, but if I see names like "Jusin Xiang" I have to vomit...
