My thanks to hanging in there guys and I look forward to the product. I have been a Mechwarrior fan since the days of Solaris aol; playing a few different forms since that time. Looking forward to placing my neurohelmet back on my head and jumping into my lite to check out the area.

Can't wait!

I worked for Virtual World in the 90's.. I miss the BattleMech centers. Hope this proves to be just as fun!

Well, I can't wait for this game. I despise most free-to-play models, but I promise to support this one. ;-)

I started playing the original table top battletech in the mid 90's. Then I found MW2 and played everything battletech I could get my hands on from there on out. I've been hoping against hope the new MW venture would pan out. This is the best news I have heard in a long time!

Ive been hooked since I came across the first TRO back in 86. Ive played pretty much all the games(including Mechassault because it was the only game in town at the time) and I continue to play the MW4 mektek mekpak version which I love.
I build models of these awesome mechs and I cant wait to crawl into a new cockpit.
Bring it on!

I'm extremely excited. I've been a fan of Battletech and Mechwarrior for as long as I can remember. I still play my MW3 game, and am running a Mechwarrior/Battletech RPG! Just the thought of being able to pilot a mech online against others again gives me goosebumps.

I can't wait to make some metal bleed!

Wow this is great news! Thank you mystical game makers! I cried a little when I saw your trailer a couple o years ago. Veng and Merc are still hands down my favorite games of all time. Nothing else comes close.

F2P? great. Lord knows this will end up costing me alot more than a packaged game.

Ditching the consoles? Thank ***! That mechassualt series broke my heart to the extent of giving up all video games for 5 years.

I can definately see how F2P could work. a few free chassis, $ for others. $ for weapons, $ for paint jobs, $ for jets, $ for other armor types.... etc etc So then, should i just start signing over my paychecks now, or wait til release?

This is obviously a big deal for your companies, I can't wait to start supporting it. keep the blogs coming.

The original Mechwarrior PC game (1989) was really the first computer game I truly remember loving growing up. I spent hours upon hours playing that game. What is amazing about it was the fact that there was both the mechs and the storyline. You could also simply be a trader (buying mechs in low priced markets and moving them to high priced ones). It really was pretty amazing considering the capabilities of the systems at the time. Once Mechwarrior 2 came out, I was completely hooked. The introduction of the Clans at that time (in both the tabletop universe, books, and finally PC game) was simply amazing. The advances in computer technology as well really made that game such a classic, even though it lost much of the "out of mech" storyline and plot that the original had, the numerous vehicles, mechs, weapons, and configurations that it allowed more than made up for that lose.

I hope you guys can bring this franchise back. One thing that I was critical of the more recent releases was the fact that they had simply turned into first person shooters. You lost out on the strategy in them, and it simply turned into a race for the biggest mech with the biggest gun which you then simply fought off hoards of enemies in the single-player or ran around sniping or circle strafing/jetting in multi-player. There was no real strategy anymore. No use for small, fast mechs, or even medium mechs, if you were not in a heavy or assault, you couldn't do the mission or last in the multi-player battle.

Please do not ruin this series and let it waste itself away for 10 years like Microsoft did, trying to make it into a console action game when it is really a strategy simulator game.

Let this game be all that MPBT: 3025 could have been and more. Can't wait to see how the non-battle parts will flow into the grand scheme. I'm so glad that they are looking at focusing on close range combat. It is so much more fun than hill sniping for an hour.

Let there be stompage.....and Bushwackers....eventually :)

I hope you make a PS3 Mechwarrior game someday.

Never happen unfortunatley. Microsoft owns Mechwarrior's IP, and they won't let anything MS be published for the PS. The X-Box could be doable though. thats why the MechAssault games were X-Box only

Thank you for keeping at with this IP and going to the lengths you have. From the looks of it, this is going to be an exceptional title. Absolutely love the persistent aspect of the game!!!
