:)

The graphics an improved 200% in comparison with the previous games in mech warriors as mercenaries, and the gameplay will be excellent, I hope my pc is running layers of this game with graphics so high.

Hi,im just going to put this out there...not sure if you will even see this but..making the game FTP would be good...and it can be good for you all because people would love to pay money to play this game....perhaps make the games market similar to league of legends...would be great!!!...And most importantly it keeps it fare!!!

I started playing Battletech when I was 10 with the tabletop game. Fell in love with it from the first time I played.

Went on to play all of the PC games, some of which I've forgotten the names. Among them, Crescent Hawks: Inception, Crescent Hawks: Revenge, the original Mechwarrior, MW2 & it's expansions, MW3 & x's, MW4 & x's, and the MechCommander line as well. I also have nearly every book for the tabletop game, and have played in nearly every era. For those looking for a pickup game, there is also the online version of the tabletop game, in the form of MegaMek which is what has kept me going for the past few years.

It's awesome to see that this long-standing project is finally getting off the ground. Great job guys! Make us proud!

And to quote a prior post... "I welcome the NWO of MWO" - Fragtastic
I think I'm going to steal that for my sig. :)

I can't believe it. I thought it was just something someone made up, but it really is true. The cinematic looks amazing. Can't to see how this does.

Thank you so much for putting in so much time, effort & resources into the Mechwarrior series, it truly is a great series ignored by media giants for too long. You've given both the gaming world and the Mechwarrior Fanbase a new shining light of hope to re-live moments of the best mechbased Combat there is x
I'm so looking forward to this title and having it Free to play should see a good strong community of mechwarriors.

I used to go by the Callsigns' Obsidian & Freebirth in earlier titles but now there is just BlackIceQueen x

I find it highly believable that the big 5 said no. Mechwarrior is a very old IP, with a huge amount of fans, but it isn't Call of Duty.

Things that aren't call of duty are not easy to sell in this market. Especially with alienating the PS3 market because of Microsoft - though frankly no publisher should be concerned with this. The 360 has sold more units than the PS3. for good reason, and those people who would play on PS3 are not prevented from playing on PC. Most gamers own four systems - Wii, PS3, 360, and a computer, so you would not be alienating them.

It's really not an excuse. The simple truth is that MW is hard to pitch to other companies. Microsoft ruined it, and WizKids ruined it - combined with problems from the 90s and 80s because of Macross, etc., people don't want to really go near it.

It's a damn shame and I'm very upset that MWO is not going to have a single player campaign. The concept portrayed and described by the trailer and the hype in 2009 was simply promising to be the best BT game ever and a much needed wave of nostalgia.

The only negative feedback I have to add is in regards to your solution to circle-strafe combat as was prevalent in MW3 and MW4. Migrating the action into an urban setting, if that is what you are thinking of doing, will stop circle strafing, but at the cost of lore and integrity.

Mechs do not fight in urban areas if at all possible, in lore. They rupture sewage lines, power lines, they destroy roadbeds and buildings, and it is a massive danger to the city. On top of that, if they explode, your city is gone. This is kind of why in almost all the BT novels, the combat is mostly in the country.

Also I have to plead that you not base this game in 3049, and instead stick with 3015 which was the trailer. The First Succession War is much more fair for gameplay than 3049 - Tech Level 1 gameplay has never been portrayed in the video/pc games and needs it's spot. Hopefully this game will be a success and then you can go on to develop a full title, where you can go on to level 2 and 3 tech.

While I like what you're saying, Hohiro, and I'm pretty sure you meant the Third Succession War, we have to accede to a larger audience.

The economy of that game is finely tuned to be free-to-play but not pay-to-win.

Disagree! Take 2 players of the same skill and give them both a Tiger at Elite status and also all 3 special skills for each crewmember.
One player is F2P the other is VIP and uses premium-ammo and consumables. The VIP will likely win more fights due to his "premium advantage" (higher penetration/damage/instant repairs)!

I've been waiting and hoping and reading a long time.

I'm anxious to see the results of your worthy efforts.

Been a Mechwarrior since pen and paper were the only platform to play on.

Luck!
