I believe it would increase participants...
Reference that Fallen Earth, Everquest, Everquest2, and several other MMO's that are now free-2-play are also available via Steam.

however, I don't believe it would increase revenue an appreciable amount*




* it may very well be that ANY amount of revenue would be appreciable at this point.

Though, it's plenty clear that "Grandtheft MechWarrior Online" would rake in many $100's of millions...

I'm hopeful PGI will do this next fall once ui 2.0 and CW come out.

Steam is awesome. It's really gotten great the last year.
