Enforcers are excellent. Nice work.

Here's mine, from the 10th Skye Rangers Regiment.

Well done, Bishop!
It's definitely one of your best redesigns!

nice.. Enforcer is one of my all time favorite mechs. good workhorse ground pounding medium ftw

also one of my favorite mini's to paint... good learning tool for paneling... so many lines!

doubt we will ever see it though.. it has a grand total of 2 varients. and hardpoint wise they are the same

part of it's succession war comm gear? rotary dial to call comstar?

Never knew either, but it seems a focal design feature, removing it would just.. look less enforcer-ish.

I guess that makes it a hood ornament then. Ad copy tag line: "Got a problem? Call the Enforcer!"

One could consider the Watchman an Enforcer variant ... that would get us three, would it not?

Otherwise a Hero mech could fill the variant gap. (Perhaps a Hero mech might have an SRM6 in the CT?)

watchman doesn't come along til 3055 though. And problem with the Hero is then you get the P2W stuff since one HAS to buy a mech with real money to actually max out the other 2.

It really highlights the shortsightedness of the original pilot efficiencies concept, with the need for leveling up 3 versions of a Chassis. Simply double or triple the cost and let people master a single version.

I don't see why PGI couldn't use the (unpublished in canon as far as I know) prototype blueprints that the Fluff says led to the Enforcer. Given that our source of canon variants are essentially a set of "What's Cool and Common" guide books to modern mech warfare, I don't have a problem with PGI making variants up. There's a lot more out there in the Sphere than what gets in the TROs.

The Enforcer has always been a big favorite of mine. Still hoping it makes its way into the game soon :)

Your design looks awesome. Keeps the original flavor while modernizing it!

Great work, sir! I'd love to see the Enforcer added to the available MWO lineup.

stranger things have happened, but the problem with the enforcer is it doesn't really do anything the Centurion doesnt. only real difference is the enforcer has jump jets..

Gotta say, that right there, in all honesty, is a HUGE difference, and to my mind a more meaningful one than hardpoints in and of themselves. It literally changes the potential role of the mech. And if the Medium Mobility buffs are at all meaningful, the added mobility on top of that from JJs is HUGE.

I look at the BJs for example. The speed of the 1X is nice, but it really only works on strafing runs, the mech is still not really overly maneuverable. The 1, 1DC and 3, all are much better suited for actual brawling, because the mobility of the JJs allows them maneuvers raw speed does not. I'm a Centy guy since Operation Inception, and the Victor appeals to me, not because it is bigger with more armor (though the armor is nice) but because it handles and fights almost identical to the Centurion... with Jump Jets.

So, whether it be the boring Poptarter, or the in your face scrapper, the Enforcer actually has a significantly different combat style than the Centy. Unless one simply likes to sit back and try to snipe. Then all mechs are pretty much the same and boil down to whether they can carry 2 ppc and a Gauss. (The Enforcer can, technically. Which Centy can?)

Enforcer 'variants' could be created by taking a page from the Victor setups. If, say, the 4R had 2 Ballistic RA, 2 Energy LA (from the original 2 ML model), and 1 Energy CT, the 5D could have 2 Ballistic LA, 1 Energy LA, 1 Energy CT, and '5E' variant could shuffle multiples of the same hardpoint structure around (like 2 CT Energy hardpoints). This keeps the enforcers 'canon' while giving them (some) variety. The fictional 5E might have a slight engine variation or perhaps torso twist/arm differences like they did with the Stalkers.
