Mech repair bays ... (mobile ones obviously) inside the game as in mw4, they would make for an interesting point of defence / attack .

Yes.
It would only be the last couple of surviving players who would get to use it, though. It could, however, make for more interesting end game possibilities..

I agree and have said the same thing, however for me I say it has to be only on conquest mode and it can only be the center point which has to be capped. It has to take 30 seconds any damage to the repair bay even friendly makes it inoperable. All it does is add to your current armor 10 for ten seconds 20 for 20 secs 30 for 30 secs. The repair bay can be stopped at any time by walking away. The mech bay only has enough resources to fix 90 damage in total for the entire game but it can not go beyond 30 for any singular mech.
Annihilation I don't think it should exist because it's annihilation the point is to kill everyone and not cap per se.
It should fix no critical, add no ammo, repair no lost arms, fix any systems. The most it can do is return your missing leg critical to one hit a singular point "1". Then add 30 armor on it if you sat there for 30 secs.

Repair bays to repair in? No.
Something more interesting than a futuristic oil rig to fight over? Yes.
