uhg, another person who doesnt understand game rollouts or whats been explained already. but hey lets make another post asking questions that have been answered or wouldnt need to be asked if they were reasonbly thought through.

1. bought money is not Cbills, its MC and how much and what it buys will probly change before release.

2. early access will most likely be after open beta (if they have it) because beta progress IS ALWAYS WIPED!

3. i wish i wasnt so damnedably bored that i actualy respond to these kinds of posts

That is simply not correct. They have stated that:

1. If you buy Founders package, it includes "Early access to the game along with Founder's assets availability starts July 17th." If it's early access, it is still beta, and at least until then it has not been open beta (they have very clearly said that before that date there is no guaranteed access to the game).

2. After July 17th, when people have access to their Founders stuff, they will not do any swipes (that was said later in Operation: Inception thread).

Def Elite. The more financially viable a Mechwarrior game is the more likely we will see a re-vitalization of the genre.

That and pretty good incentives for it the Elite package. As someone else already stated the $30 package is pretty meh.

Early access /= beta.

I'm thinking Elite, but what exactly does "custom battlemech" means? It's really customizable? Or is it just a special version of the regular 'mechs?

They are supposed to look different due to custom skins. Idk maybe we see racing stripes on founders Mechs or details picked out in gold, chrome and what not. Apart from that there is no hard information available I'm afraid. That's not too bad either because that would indicate to me that they look different but have the same stuff under the hood as normal Mechs. Just a custom paintjob and an increased c-bill modifier, that's all. Oh yes, and a founder tag/bumper sticker. LOL

I find it very interesting that most people sitting on these forums are looking to buy the elite pack,But for some reason we not getting into
the beta . Well as for me, I am thinking about the elite pack but after the failed launches the last few years. I dont buy anything
with out trying it out first these days.So no try , no buy

Dude, you don't get to try a $2000 alienware laptop for a week before you pay for it!

I don't think this game or any game or any community in the world needs an attitude like that to be honest. Beta is a development phase, 18 year olds learn this stuff in University and know beta testing is controlled to some degree like an experiment.

It can't be allowed to get out of hand or can the testing be so big that it has a negative effect on the ability to monitor.

There may be a few changes to the founder mechs, though you can't get much from just the concept drawings. The founder Atlas for example is missing a missile launcher from his right torso, implying that he's got something going on somewhere else.

The missile launcher in the upper right torso is missing from the inception model. I can't figure out if anything else has changed, but that's some spare tonnage at least.

Okay, the launcher has 'mysteriously' disappeared.
So does that suggest additional electronics, Jump Jets, a Gauss Rifle instead of the AC20 or ... something else?
