The general idea of a POLL is to be impartial. With a question like..."Get rid of the worst map in the game?", that is not being impartial.

Anyway, I voted no. I kind of like the map.

I do think Alpine is worse. Even that map I don't want pulled, just tweaked.

I can't even drop in Terrible Thermal after the patch, I get dumped to desktop once the splashscreen pops up. That being said, the dozen or so times I've played it, I found it.....lacking.

Its meant to break up your team and funnel them piecemeal to the center where an unlikely platform exists. And while all that is happening a light sneak attacks your base and you play catch the Spider while he ridgehumps all over god's creation.

Pull the map, get someone with some creativity in there and bring it back when the movement bugs and outlandish hitboxes are fixed.

The issue with this mnap is Mount Lemming... everyone runs up the hill... spams weapons, rages at each other for taking up space, falls into volcano etc...

While that is happening a light mech pilot, disillusioned by the total lack of rewards offered to lights in 12 vs 12 wanders off and base caps.

if you have a few scouts that know where the enemy is it makes a huge difference... of course they need UAVs and the like to see the whole area of the map they are scouting

All will be forgiven if they steal the falling sound effect from de_vertigo and have it play whenever someone swan dives off the center structure.

I can't find a sample of that scream in wav format or a youtube video... apparently the later versions of the map don't have it. Can anyone please help me ?

I voted no because I don't know what map kebab is and I'm assuming it is the image Destined showed up. I like kebabs...
My assumption is it's Terra Therma, the hottest map, perfect for grilling kebabs in. But I have no idea why it's called kebab or why something silly like that caught on (if it even caught on? I am the resistance.)

I'd rather call my 3PV drone kebab. Sounds catchy as a name for a drone. And I'll name my UAV Pauly.

Instead of removing a map that some one cannot learn to play on, can we get players to learn how to do more that just run up the middle? Honestly why should PGI take out a map because the OP is tactically one dimensional? Or is it the the in ability to manage heat?

Either way this is not a really constructive thread. It is just a silly demand to remove a map because that person can not play on it. There is no conversation here discussing why it should be removed, or how to make it better.

Also using what ever slang term that is only in use with in your small gaming group is not helpful when creating threads for the general community.

What map? Are you sure you don`t mean Schwarma or Gyros? Or possibly even Sushi?

And who exactly are you to demand that the Inner Sphere terraform all Planets that have either snow or volcanoes over an area of 5-10 sq miles that just happen to be near a resource station or military outpost? Did you even think to consider the kajillions of c-bills that would cost?

Incidentally, I happen to like this map. The first time I played on it, the enemy was waiting in a firing line near their base. We were able to flank them and demolish them through team work. It wasn't until my 4th itteration that I made it to Mt. Dhoom, which yes, is absolutly rediculous. There are several other, better places to set up battle lines.

I"m really concerned with the core element of kebab. Wooden sticks bought by C-Bills get damaged and have to be replaced. However the MC only steel ones are OP and pay to win.
