2Xxp Is A Bad Idea.

This has two effects:
1) Players remember losing streaks more than winning streaks, and losing 2xXP matches just makes these streaks stand out even more, and some players feel that they are losing a lot more and complain about "balance" more on the forums.
2) Sometimes players feel that they haven't done enough to get a high XP reward and so if their team is winning they want their team to lose and try to help the enemy by rushing to the enemy to suicide, maybe even "accidentally" shooting their teammates on the way.
I know it sounds pathetic but i know there were quite a few players in WoT who did that.

It provides an incentive for people to log in an play at least 1 game every day: People who otherwise might not play for several days on end. And if you''re already logged on, hey, why not play a few more...
League of Legends has a similar system, and I have friends who just log on for that some days. It's a smart move by PGI.

In a good many F2P games having a first win bonus has been a successful way to get players to play at least once each day. This keeps players active, which is good for everyone, and accelerates their ability to spend in-game currency (since they earn it that much faster), which builds their personal investment in the game.
For instance, League of Legends offers a pretty significant IP reward for your first win each 20ish hours, which I know for a fact influences players to play more often than they otherwise would.

2xXP means nothing to me and in no way encourages me play when i don't want to. I just hope people don't start screwing over their team for what, imo, is nothing.

Which is why I'm suggesting it change to 100k c-bills and 1k xp flat, and only on a win. It'd be better for newer or less skilled players and worse for very skilled players.

They want you to either buy hero mechs and/or premium time and/or convert your excess mech XP to GXP... using MC.

I don't understand them either.
But 2XP is not intended to encourage you to play when you don't want to as much as to pick a larger variety of mechs when you play. For instance, I played only 5 matches last night, but I played 3 different mechs (blackjacks) because it is more efficient to get the 2XP for those mechs if I have limited play time (which I do).

Same for me. Instead of trying to gain XP for one mech for the 2 and 1/2 hours I played last night, I ran in three mechs. Two that I hadn't mastered yet, and the then the new one I'm grinding up.

Like the two previous posters, it encourages me to play 3-4 mechs that I haven't quite Mastered yet, but was tired of the grind on them. Now I can at least put in a match or three to get the first win on them.
As to the OP's two points.
1) It's hard to believe people can b*tch MORE on these forums.
2) So how does throwing a match give them more xp ?

Kinda agree with it creating more negatives then positives.
Still a good game does not need these kinds of things.
Not like I disagree with it totally, just feels like a small filler.
