How is the hit box? has anyone mapped it out yet? I think it looks like it has a good hit bow. How hard is it to core? Is the mech scaled well?

There are a few topics about this. Looks like the CT hitbox takes up about 90% of the front surface of the mech and makes an Awesome's CT hitbox look microscopic. Really tiny side torsos though.

CT hueg, LT/RT tiny. Needs big XL, KTO-GB can't fit big XL.

As it currently stands, it will never have a place because its CT is MONSTEROUS. It takes up the whole mech and is absolute sniper/brawler bait. It's just bait. All of its potential as an SRM zombie that could pack a serious punch is gone because your death pattern will look like this every time: RA:90%, LA: 90%, RL: 95%, LL: 95%, RT: 98%, LT:98%, CT: 0%.

You just get straight cored, regardless of torso twist. The worst part is that there is a perfectly intuitive fix. Just have the slanted part of the now-CT count as side torso, and only have the flat part count as CT. That would instantly make this mech viable, and it doesn't take much effort at all. Right now there is no reason to take this thing over a Cent 9A.

Can't say I didn't predict this when they first released the video of it.

Gotta love PGI and their hatred of Medium mechs.

you are better off with an XL hunchback than that mech.

atleast that tool isnt in this thread saying that the kintaro is fine because it was a crap mech in lore also.

Yep, this seems to be %100 accurate. I'm not an amazing mechwarrior by any means, but I get cored and taken out faster in my Golden Boy, than any other mech I've yet piloted. Save your money, unless you like it for non-combat reasons.
