I just want to see a quick opinion on this. Yes, there is a feedback thread, but I'm curious about a simple decision here. No wrong answer, just get a showing out there. TY.

Once everyone learns how to play in 12 v 12 it will be better than 8 v 8.

Right now, everyone still blobs up into one big chaotic clusterfuk most of the time rather than using lances tactically.

So you just think it's an issue of learning to properly implement 3 lances?

Something to keep in mind that a large part of 12v12's appeal is that it is a relatively different experience from what we're used to with all of the extra chaos and fusterclucking and whatnot. New things tend to be more fun just by nature. The real test will be to see how much fun it is after we get "desensitized" to the newness of it.

The game's meta has remained the game's meta - just more people.

Brawling is back a bit more in force, but only through overconfidence. The fights remain dominated by the PPC/Gauss/AC20 crowd that tosses in SRMs now.

A Laser boat of any kind seems a rarity for me to see, and typically I am the LRM boat when I'm on my Cats.

So... same its been for the last few months. Just more people.

I got 4 kills and a solid damage count with LRMs on my golden boy and I am one of the worst LERMERZ MWO has to offer. I am pleased :)

Technical issues aside, it's more fun.

That is a huge, huge factor I think a lot of people forget about.

Surprised by the outcome of the poll, after seeing all these negative threads... I myself like it more, but as fupdup said it might be because its just new.

I'm not sure yet. I usually play Dragons as a striker, but that extra 4 mechs makes it a LOT harder to flank, get some hits in and get out of town. My survivability has drastically tanked. I don't want to make a definite decision on whether that's strictly worse or whether I need to adapt more as a striker. I don't want to change to a different role, so I'll keep working at it and see if I figure it out.

It's a major part of the problem, yes.

My best matches are those where my teammates take advantage of the extra lance for auxiliary scouting, defense, and flanking maneuvers. Also, having extra eyes on the base is a major boon for preventing base caps.

Striking is harder, but it still works. You just need to develop a different map awareness. You'll get there real soon, I'm sure. Good Dragon pilots are generally really good pilots, as Dragons take some serious skill.
