[Novakaine]

Ah young Padawan this what ya need to do.
Take your Kat and drop as many LRM5's on it as you can.
Fill it to the brim with ammo.
Ya gonna need some close in protection trust me.
Medium laser and streaks - nasty combo.
Now ya have a 2 choices here.
Armor or speed that's up to you.
Personally I prefer armor, because Kats just ain't fast.
So armor up that way ya can take the hits and keep bringing da pain.
Now for some help hints from Master Novakaine.
#1. Know your role: You are fire support - so support your team.
Realize you are not gonna have a high kill count yet, but with practice you get 2 or 3 easily.
That said your job is to soften em for the big guns they will glad when they see your name on the roster.
#2. Know when to fire: Don't just be throwing missile everywhere pick a target and stay on it until lose lock.
Just keep bringing the pain good for suppressing those nasty Jager's.
Also wait for the mech with critical damage they go down faster than.....well you know.
#3. The right equipment: Ya gonna need Artemis and ya gonna need tag period.
As soon as ya can get dem modules advance range and targeting nuff said.
#4. Attitude: Get some, My buddies always poo poo on me and my LRM5 Kats until they were on the end of my painbow.
Nothing like a constant stream of steel wacking a mech upside the head - so satisfying.
#5. Light Mechs: You can jack them up but good - at a distance.
So don't feel like wasting ammo shooting at them most light pilots are dumb.
You'll see what they will do so just gank em.
However the good pilots, I mean the really good ones you will never know they are there.
So be mindful.
