Until the next patch which resolves some of my freeze and crash issues.

I don't mind going from 50-60fps to 30-40fps but crashes and freezes are very hard to take.

Thanks.

I agree.
I have a freeze issue that the support team said it was a recognised issue and can not be fixed at the moment.
The frequency of the bug seems to really depend on the magic that occurs with each patch, others it's almost non existant and sometimes it's every third match.

The bug I'm experiencing is at the moment, not confirmed to be a user issue.

However I am left penalised as a player if I want to activate my Premium Time. I may be lucky and for the next month I could get lucky and have a bug free MWO experience. Or I could activate my Premium Time and crash every third game...

Why should a customer be a victim of an inflexible Premium Time set up AND a bug that PGI recognise as being currently unresolvable..?

generally a button that allowed to just activate one week/month at a time would be great. I will be getting 3 Month of premium time from the Phoenix project but due to my busy schedule it would be an absolute waste to activate them as the system is now since I will be playing for a month (maybe) and then i'll be off the game for 1-2 months after that.

Even though the impetus for the post may be anecdotal, I'm not asking for a single player specific solution.

I think all player base may benefit from this. Also makes a "30 day commitment" easier to swallow if you know you can disperse the time amongst few "spurts" and hence may lead to more sales.

ah thats y i like other games that have win 5 games and get 500% winnings for that round and pay x amount, or 100%. that way if u say okay i really am only going to play for a night and i got my groove on and my clan is here. bam pop one of those. sometimes they cost almost as much as a week of of time. a 500% win and 5 or 10 will get u quite a bit. yet pgi never put them in. something i figured would be easy to code and make some extra cash,, maybe it will come with the amazing UI2.0

I would really appreciate this. I still have my 90 days from my founders pack. I just cant commit to using it as I rarely have time to play for more then an hour. I have been able to play maybe ten hours a week if I'm lucky the past few months, but once college starts back up next month I may be lucky to get an hour of play time a WEEK. I certainly will not ever be buying more premium time unless I have a way to pause it or buy it for a single day. I just don't understand how it is now. I would think PGI would be able to get more money by implementing a pause feature or single day purchases because more players would think it was more worth the price.

No they wouldn't cos everyone would simply pause their time and drag out their premium time over months, if not a year.

If you only play weekends, that's two days a week. Your 90 day premium time just took over 11 months to run out.
That's if you activated it every weekend for the next 45 weeks.

It's glaringly obvious that this system would be wide open to abuse from alot if not all players. Hell, if it was allowed even I would try to drag out my premium time as much as possible. Who wouldn't.

I can see why they wouldn't and any reasonable person can see too.

They already have small blocks you can buy - just buy 1 or 2 days worth at a time.

Answered already a few post above by a good idea... Seriously.
