well there's your problem and i'm sure others have beaten me to it at this very moment.

most of us are at about 50fps i think? depending on how many mechs are actually near me I've noticed it get to 30. the other night going into thermal vision on forest colony for some weird reason my FPS went to the teens and i just had to not use it. but yea, you have to realize that you are shooting at things that aren't there anymore, and they've already shot you. hell, at 12fps, sometimes you're probably dead before you're even dead, if that makes any sense.

something's not right bro, try lowering your graphics to a disgusting level and nudge different things up one game at a time. also, it is tough to get off the ground, i mean, until you have gotten 3 variants basic skills which allows you to master one, you simply won't be as awesome perhaps as the other folk on your team.

but since ELO seems to work a LITTLE, you should be pitted against others around your skill level which leads me to believe you have either a network or hardware issue to resolve before you'll get much more joy out of MWO.

Yep

1) Low FPS at 12. That is a huge huge problem. Anything you can do hardware wise or software wise to rectify that would be priority one with this game.

2) I run Centurions and that engine is too low. I would at least get something above 200 even for Standard. You need some speed in that Cent otherwise it's not gonna last long.

3) Your KD. More than likely this is related to your low FPS. So I wouldn't worry about that so much right now. Also like you, I about quit after 2 weeks of getting my *********. It's tough but there is a light at the end of the tunnel if you stick with it. Definitely run with the people on here offering to help on Teamspeak and group up in game.

I know this might seem like odd advice, but don't change your loadouts dramatically between drops. Take the time to understand what works for you. For example, I've worked out that my best weapons are AC5s, AC20s, GRs, PPCs and SRM6s. So, most of my mechs run with some of these. Have a look at competitive chassis and consider selling the rest.

Hello, again, everyone. Just a quick update on my progress. It seems as though the newest patch has made the game much easier to play on my machine. By playing the game windowed and with the lowest graphics, my framerate has gone up to about 30. I obviously still need to improve this, somewhat, but I am already finding the game eaiser to play.
