Heavy Metal Missile Bug

With the patch came a nice little bug for the HM. I had 2 SRM6s on it before, and they both fired together. Now I get 1 firing all 6 at a time, and another firing as if it's coming out of a NARC tube - one at a time. It was bad enough that it was bugged with LRMs, but now SRMs are affected as well. I'm actively trying to avoid the Gauss/2xPPC build, but without useable missile slots there's really not much else I can do.

I've had this happen as well. From the angle it seems to be the side missile slot that's the culprit. Also, you said it fires one at a time for you? For me it fires out in three volleys of two.

Not entirely sure, I thought it was 6x1 and not 2x3. I haven't touched my HM after I saw this happen because it's so damn annoying.

Its not just the Heavy Metal either. My 733P does the same thing from the smaller 'addon' missle rack on the torso which clearly shows 6 tubes. While it just means I have to fire when I can keep my aim on the opponent for them all to hit for now, it definately is annoying.

Yeah i'm grinding the highlanders at the moment, I can confirm that the bug is affecting pretty much all them. Hopefully we'll get a fix soon.

733C has this problem as well. With 2 srm6 packs in the torso. One would shoot all 6 at once while the other would shoot 2 missiles at a time. I switched out one of the 6 packs for a 4 pack and now it shoots all 10 missiles at once.

On the 733C, using 1x SRM-6+A and 1x SRM-4+A still causes the second launcher to spit out SRMs one at a time. What makes this bug extra annoying is that that second slot is intended to carry a SRM 6 in the first place!!! Oh, wait, its because the other missile bug is causing the SRM-4 to come out of the LRM-20 slot and the SRM-6 to come out of the now bugged SRM-6 tube.... No SRMs for highlanders then, I'm not going to gimp it. I hope PGI can fix this soon.
