Ok so I now have 3 out of 4 mechs locked in game due to this crash. And this is immediately AFTER I used repair tool.

WTB working game PST.

I'm having the same issue. The exact error message is "FRead did not read expected number of byte from file, only 128 of 0 bytes read".

I tried using the repair tool but it only seems to have exacerbated the problem.
I tried clearing the shaders cache, but it had no effect.
It appears to be independent of whether or not I'm PUGging or dropping with a group.

I get the same error when trying to enter a battle. As soon as loading is done crash to error. Seems like a awesome game if it worked. I can do tutorials and stuff. But cant actually PLAY the game. rep tool does nothing to fix this issue for me so any ideas on a fix or workaround?

try reinstalling if the repair tool doesnt work.

just had 3 matches in a row with this error.
not entirely impressed that this issue hasnt been resolved (it has been around for a while).



edit: o lookie, the repair says my objects.pak is corrupted.. that shouldnt happen... aaaand its an extra 1.5gb for me to download.. looks like im not playing for a while... siiiiiiiigh.

edit: ARGH... downloaded it....... started a match.. BOOM CRASH... not impressed.. at all..

edit again,
Reinstalled... i can now get into Training grounds.. but it still FRead errors out when I go to a match.. FFS
