In light of the recent changes, and the obvious feedback from angry and disappointed players, I feel something should be said about this summer beach sale.
Not only did the servers just unexpectedly drop mid-game to make a promotion available (they could have just locked servers down as games finished, and stopped letting new games start), but their final comment at the end just feels like a slap in the face:
"Enjoy, MechWarriors! And remember - chill out, relax!"
All these problems, and PGI says, Look! shiny colours! Spend more money! Who cares that things arent working properly, and that our customers are complaining... "Chill out, relax!"

Just a comment to OP, as you appear to be somewhat newer, they tend to drop these sales around the same time every Friday so it is a good idea to expect that a server drop will happen (I know, doesn't address the fact that it happens with no ingame notification, but just a head's up for you in the future).
