I would like to see some asymmetric game modes in the game. I think it would be cool to have some sort of 8v8v8 scenario where each team has a different objective.
I could imagine this becoming more useful when there are contention points in Community Warfare where 3 houses are battling over the same spot.

The problem with it is, that one team can just hang back and wait for the other two to destroy themselves and the wipe the map with the winner.

Turn every matrch into a pro wrestling triple threat match, wherer one guy hides under the ring and comes out at the very end to steal the win? I`m not so sure I think that`s a good idea

Yup, everyone will be actively avoiding everyone else. You'll get 8 man spider drops just so they can run like crazy!

Thats why you need to be smart about your objectives. Make it paper rock scissors style A->B->C->A . A needs to beat B, B needs to beat C, and C needs to beat A. Now if one team stands back, another team is assured victory.

Here's a quick and dirty game mode: I hope to refine it further
8v8v8 Assault; Each team spawns in with a single capture point. A's objective is to capture B's, B -> C and C -> A. If your capture point gets captured, you are no longer able to capture points. When one capture point is taken by a team (say team A captures B, they can now capture point C. )
Reward heavily for each captured point to the entire team. All salvage bonuses on the map go to the team with the most captured points (split to the two winners on a possible tie (i.e. A takes B, and C takes A).
Possible Variant: If a team's point is captured, make all their mechs shutdown and have to suffer watching themselves get blown up.

Well, some of you need to go and watch the Hall of Heroes battles in Guild Wars 1 , it was a 3 way battle with an extra objective , there is a relic that each team gets and need to carry it to the center of the map , so every team has 2 runners and the rest work to kill and stop the other runners , in other words it could work , but only as long as there is a pressing reason to engage in a fight.
