sadly gearbox is making it,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and i strongly believe they will not release any modding tools with it (even they in some manner they will create them for the remake )

regardless i can't wait!

Personally i think all of gearbox'es games have sub-par graphics and i believe another company would do a better job (you only get one shot right ? )

Then again they did pay 1.3 million for this and then again im not liking gearbox going fiddling around with any franchise

Nah, I'm just quoting the guy... because he is, sadly, exactly on point about how a Gearbox made Homeworld game would look like. Of course, there's lot of satire in it, but in essence, it is spot on.

It's a remake, not a sequel. I seriously doubt they'll do much more than add normal maps and maybe a few hundred more polys to each ship. If a publisher thought Homeworld was worth money, they would have already made one by now. Homeworld is a niche game in an already niche market.

It's far more likely that gearbox is trying to cash in on some cheaply made nostalgia.

Talked allot about the code and says that hw1 ,2 have already been ported (i think)

Im Just hoping they dont change the gameplay in the HD remakes or change the colors (faction) significantly
or the voice actors and if they do remaster the soundtrack chances are some (me ) won't even like it and it migght not be just nostalgia ears being upset

(a multiplayer only balance change would be cool though though multiplayer is a bit farfetched)
