hoping for a PGI reseen version. :-)

which Russ himself said won't happen for the robotech unseen in foreseeable future due to HG and the macross movie. (Sorry to burst your bubble :) i really want mah Marauder too). Edit: it's in ngng #78? podcast i believe....

dunno why peeps are worried about the orion, at worst it'll be jagger sized  . The thunderbolt on the other hand, THAT has me worried it'll be the size of an awesome given the concept art :D

They are allowed to make any IIC version, which means Warhammer IIC.

Well he hasn't straight out denied that macross unseens won't be in game.

Plus they originally said absolutely no unseens will be in the game and look how that turned out

They are quite within their right to make both on original art, it's more a question of what it will cost to defend any action HG takes. In the same interview above russ goes on to point out that the name "warhammer" and it's stats are original idea's of fasa but that's a risk they are unwilling to take on right now. It cost them in lawyers just to get the phoenix mech's clear and agreed upon.

I want to see them ingame, but not if it mean's having the title shelved/shutdown paying for court costs in defense of a troll law suit, which is evidenced to be likely given the hg vs matel Hasbro shenanigans going on right now

Edit: for correctness

note that HG is entangled in a legal battle with Hasbro right now too.

My mistake, Hasbro is the example i meant. It is debatable, but I doubt PGI has the funds to both defend something like that and continue to progress with development...... no matter who would win at the end, the interim costs along the way would be the issue (and what HG would be banking on to negotiate quick settlement)

My bets for the 95 tonner are all on the Banshee.

Caesar or Grasshopper are very valid candidates for next heavy after Orion.

I'd like a 30-tonner like the Firefly simply because there are a lot of humanoid lights on the Technical Readout and a reverse jointer would be a welcome difference from the others, visually speaking. Hornet would be an awful choice. Though... I think the only other 20 tonner we'll likely see (aside from the flea and locust) is the mercury.

I seriously hope that the banshee retains no shred of its sunglasses, though.

if i remember corectly, a mech to be picked has to have at LEAST 3 variats by this time (3050) thats why we wont see the Caesar, or Mauler for awhile
