Not really - far to much moving from one end of the screen to another

I was meaning how the buttons would beep at you when you hovered over them to know your pointer was actually on them, very console-like

UI 2.0 is not even PC user friendly, I think Console players would implode if they had to use that interface

Yes - but that has been popular in even most PC games over the last few years.
DOW2 did it - for example.

It is about as user friendly as Windows Vista, 7, or 8 :)

No! We do not need PGI to take any resources off of the PC version until all of the promised features are in the game and working properly.

Anyone remember the push for third person that almost killed the game? Yeah I do.

Fixed that for you

I doubt they would. Despite the "release", fall last year, this game is still beta. I started playing a couple of months after it went "gold" and quickly figured out that it was still not ready. SRM HR was broken, CW is not here, game modes are missing, we only recently got private matches, and the clans just dropped. Until All the game is here and stable they won't look into another platform. That being said, with Microsoft holding the IP, putting it on the XBone is most likely part of the contract. When it does hit they will have their own severs and player base. Their CW will most likely be different then our. I do not have problem with them putting in the XBone.

I hope to see this one day. Xbox could use a good Mech Sim (Titan Fall isn't the same <-- beating people to the punch)

I am the owner and founder of a nearly 1000 member clan on the free to play game called Warframe. i play it on the Xbox One. if MWO swiched over to the XBOX, id have my whole clan go over immidiatly. we cumulatively have invested in the $10,000's. the consoles have been a large source of additional income for Digital Extremes and others, to enlarge their originally PC only game. if MWO wants to keep the longevity of its game, then it needs to taylor to more audiances. Free to play online games are causing the regularly priced games to drop in price after only a couple of months.

if this ever came to console you would have to play it with a controller or *god help us* a steering wheel.

would the community coexist with pc players on the same server? because mouse players would just annihilate all console players and they would not have much fun

putting up with 10 year olds might seem harmless for now - but 10 year olds these days are INSANE; if you kill them a few too many times they might just get you "swatted"

As near as I can tell, the XBox One is running twin 1.75 GHZ AMD APUs. Has anybody running ANY processor (AMD or Intel) at that speed had anything close to a playable FRS? Probably not. So, to answer the OP, tho hardware can't handle it.

Now, when PGI gets around to doing the PvE stuff, maybe that will run on the hardware in question. <fewer mechs = less demand on resources>

no, free to play games on the consoles have their own community. PC players keep saying that playing with 10 year old's would be annoying. you wouldn't play with them. its a business expenditure that would result in aditional founds for you PC guys. PC players on warframe have a much stronger pull as to where warframe goes, they also have more ingame content players can have. PC players are also an update ahead of the consoles. the game expanded exponetially due to extra funds. all those little kids you hate so much spend all of mommy and daddy's money then quit. so they would help your gaming expreiance

Mwo in it's current form still seems quite dependant on singlethreaded cpu performance to make it run properly. The xbone has 8 slow cores, I don't see it happening anytime soon, unless they really start cutting stuff.

planetside 2 on the ps4 has the same problem.

They did get planetside to work eventually, so I guess it's possible.

When they get win10 to x-box streaming working that will make it possible "auto aim" cod style anyone? In all seriousness xbox controller would be ideal to play with

I searched for that question but i found only issues on Xbox controller or Xbox One in general. Please move or delete this topic, if this question is already answered!

Main Question: MWO on XBOX One?!

A dream or a nightmare?
(Would you like it or not?)

A nice technical challenge or impossible to build up?
(Developer statment on that would be great or just include it on "Ask the devs", thx)

I really dont have a final judgement on this...

ehh

why not
I think WoT is on XBOX

http://console.world...tent/about/FAQ/

though:

in a game that rewards pinpoint accuracy, you might have to split players between those with a mouse and those with a controller

aaand

I would say it's quite an optimization issue too

Quote

World of Tanks on Xbox was built from the ground up for consoles

if only high end or well overclocked CPU's can run this game smoothly, then you need to optimize a lot more than they already have

If they separate the PC servers from the xbone servers.... maybe.

On a different engine, which is an in house engine, under a different development team.

Cryengine works on both consoles we know this, the problem is closer to the development team, there are PC's far more powerful than both Newgen Consoles that struggle to run MWO well.

For it to happen would require major time and resources, time and resources that quite frankly would be better spent ripping out several core systems and doing them right. Something they refused to do because of time/resources.
Im looking at you heat system botchness.

i dont think you got what i said. when one is willing to invest in the console gaming community, one opens the doors to millions of gamers, which leads to a concept called "new resources", which includeds human resources that causes less time to be elapsed. thereby expanding the game long term.
