It sucks. It sucks with premium time. It sucks with hero mechs. BUT, with hero mechs and premium time together, it is almost reasonable, and even mediocre matches i can nearly earn 200k consistently.

THE PROBLEM

i have literally 0 interest in buying MC for premium time or hero mechs now.

Why?

i'll tell you why.

Because for the last 30 days i have tried and tried to PLAY THE GAME and you just cannot. Premium time is just not worth it when you have to spend at least a quarter of your time playing fighting off game breaking bugs. If it isn't my mouse cursor not being bound to the window and minimizing me, it is ac/2's magically gaining 40% heat on 1 shot. If it isn't a pebble on the ground stopping my recon mech and getting me shredding 20 seconds into river city, it is a spider that i have to waste 5 minutes on dueling in my trebuchet, because it just won't take damage. My MC is being wasted because of faults in the game.

How can you currently justify premium time at such costs, when you barely get to actually use it? Why is our cash being wasted because of PGI's bad coding, and lack of foresight? Now look, i know this is beta, but this is ridiculous. It's just a lottery.

A Solution?!

(i'm just going to crap shoot an idea here)
The Survivor pack! MC pack that gives you premium time until the launch date. Sell it just like the Pheonix/Founders packs, just without mechs. The problem with the current state is that premium doesn't have a value. One day it is worth its weight in gold, the next day i can't even play. Let's REGULATE THIS ECONOMY, AND TO THE SURVIVORS GO THE SPOILS!

because seriously here, the C-Bill gain sucks, but IT SHOULD. This is an F2P game. The main problem is PGI doesn't know how to MONETIZE, and they are trying to MONETIZE on a broken product as is. I want to give you my money PGI, but i don't want to watch you flush my $20 down the toilet and then punish me for it with this current c-bill gain.

It's just rude.

It doesn't suck. Your team winning, but because you got shot to pieces, you lost money for the match sucks!

So maybe get better at prioritizing your targets and the components you're going after. I can hit 150k without premium or hero mechs. If you're struggling to hit 200k with both... ur doin it wrong.

You failed at reading. He said he earns that much in mediocre matches.

Ginger since I can assume you've not been around for a very long time I'm going to tell you that "on occasion" the economy has varied from time to time. Just so they can test some various things, like Repair and Rearm. Effective win earnings for captures over kills when conquest came out. So please understand that the economy has changed in the past and will likely fluctuate here and there in the future, Wait it out without the belief that the sky is falling.

Either PGI is planning on a massive content slowdown and therefore less need for C-Bills. Or they are about to introduce the new "Advanced Overlord Premium Time" with 100% C-Bills and XP rewards.

I'd have a feeling they'd lose a lot of Founders that way.

It's most likely for the benefit of new launch players who will have no memory of the old economy.

This game would have been much better served under the traditional publishing model, as most games would be. Problem is publishers have this notion nowadays that if your $60 game doesn't make $2,000,000+ in the first month it's more suited to be F2P.
