In our matches we've noticed that one person will call out a target for the team to focus fire on. And there will be confusion as the target designation will be different for several people (ie. for one person, an Atlas D-DC will have target designation (A) and for another it will be ©). I want to say that I've had target designators change for the same target even for one pilot. Its a simple workaround, we just start calling targets by pilot name, but it did create some frustrating arguments; "Why weren't you guys focusing fire!?!?" "What are you talking about I was the only one firing on that target, what were you guys shooting at?!?!" "I didn't see you shooting at Target A!" "Well I was ..."

And for some reason, I can't hit return and start a new line/paragraph. So frustrating.

I was able to get a new line/paragraph when I hit reply to this topic in the upper right of the thread .... so weird. Anyone have ideas why its doing this? Is this an IExplorer issue?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't change during the course of a match.

It is more likely self-confusion... as in that there could be the same mech fielded (even possibly variant as well) that makes targeting difficult.

The order of the target designation is usually in the order that the entire team "visually" sees the enemy targets. So, something with the ECM cloak would probably have a designation, but it is difficult to notice if you are not within its ECM cloak.
