Well urbanmechs can mount ravens, locusts, and T-rex's, they can also use a Jagermech as a exo-suit......

Except for the fact that the Quickdraw is hands down one of the best mechs in the game, at least to anyone that understands how to play it. If I had listened to the hype or lack there of in the case of the QD, I would have never bought it and missed out on what has been hands down the most enjoyable mech I have played yet.

Also I watched the NGNG video they did when the Goldenboy first came out and they played with the GB for about 2 hours. In that time it actually didn't appear to do that badly.

In any case, we will all get a chance to try them out next week and see for ourselves how good or bad they are.

Bought a GB - really disappointed. Assumed it would be the size of a hunchback or centurion...silly me for thinking with common sense. The thing is just too darn big for a medium mech (it's single biggest drawback amongst many others). Far more happy with my Flame and X-5 hero mechs...but it does look cool - about all that is going for it...learned my lesson.

Paying for someones flush habit... think we can live with that. As an aside, now that we have 12 v 12, how about we make trial mechs (at least the non-champion ones) count as half a mech for matchmaking purposes?

Really it should be more like 1/4th of a mech.

Nothing makes me sadder than seeing four(1) trial mechs on my team, plus a few Kintaros.

Kintaro is just bad. My normal policy is to elite every hero I have (including the Death Snail... that was a struggle), but the Kintaro will not be elite'd. I do not plan on buying any other variants of this mech until they address the size as well as the hitboxes.

The Kintaro seems pretty scarce out there. I think it's because the CT is frigggin huge..!!!

Just had an awful thought, the kintaro as a trial mech.

New player joins and picks the Kintaro trial mech, hey that looks and sounds cool. Starts the match and decides to play it safe and stick with the team. Contact with the enemy............. dead in seconds. Ok i must have done something wrong there, tries again.........This continues to happen until. sod this i will play something else.

They said they are looking into it.

Not a yes or a no, but good to know we bounced the issue on their radar.

Suppose that's the best you can hope for, so I shall wait and see.

I got the ol golden CT the day it came out, after about 5 matches playing with builds I settled on one I liked and now im surprised if I do less than 400dmg in a match with it. admittedly, I don't see why pgi felt the need to pre-nerf its speed...but other than that I pilot it as much as my ilya, slayer, raven or any other mech.

I saw one, and it died within 2sec of my team spotting it. Sad sight, everything yellow but the CT, which was missing. I honestly don't see why people can't wait a week to buy it either for CBills or with IRL money once the kinks are ironed out.
