I pilot a light mech and am adept at reliably hitting other light mechs in full speed battles with SRM's. The issue is that the mechs that I hit shrug off most of the damage from the hits with SRM's.
Overall it is hit detection. Even when I can get in right behind an enemy mech when moving at speed and can solidly nail, over and over, that mech.. only a fraction of that damage is applied when I should easily rip through their back plates even with missile spread with the number of hits that I get.
It is just aggravating to feel that I am gimping myself by using heat up to use missiles in a light v light fight.

Any Eta On Fixing Srm's Vs Light Mechs?

Streaks while a pain to get a lock seem to always snark me dead center on my rear CT armor. Cant count how many time a dang 2d commando with 3 streaks have lain me low. I run a 3L Raven & 5D Spider most of the time. Seems to usually take 4 or 5 hits .

So THATS my problem... I use a Jenner with 2XSrM4 and while I kill stalkers with it, I cant kill anything my own size... Even if I hit dead center.

This is an issue vs lights in general.
If you pay attention, you will notice that even if you centerline them, you might tap a leg or one component.. without enough damage done to show that you hit with most of the missiles but without enough spread to demonstrate that you solidly hit them.
It is annoying as hell.

This may be a bit much, but is HSR for missiles possible?

HSR on missiles is already in place... and I suspect that it is the source of the issue as a whole.
Ah, I wasn't keeping track of HSR after they implemented ballistics. Was missiles at the same time as ballistics, or later?

I don't know.. I was on a break but I know it was implemented.

Wish they'd just get rid of HSR. Hasn't solved the hit detection issues, and introduced more problems than its worth.
