At the moment, no. The new UI they are bringing in soon should be addressing this issue.

thank you very much for the quick reply, i searched but didnt see other idiots like me doing the same thing.....

this is a semi-major issue, especially for non-premium players where every credit counts.....

thanks again

I assume you don't own any other mechs? I don't know if you want to do this, but you could buy the cheapest commando. That will give you access to energy and missile weapons to sell. I wouldn't recommend that you go this route because it will require more grinding in the end, but it is a possible workaround.

The consensus around here is not to sell anything unless you absolutely hate it or have way too many, even weapons.

I see, you sold your mech before selling the parts so you didn't have access to the mechlab to sell your parts to get the new mech. It's troubling, but as stated earlier, you get a cheap mech to open up the lab again or grind the rest out with trials. The Trial Catapult is a slightly less headache to deal with when doing that.

I agree that this is an issue. They should allow you to access the mechlab (or your inventory) even when you do not have a mech.

Can always donate $10 US to Cancer research for Sarah's mech. It comes with its own mech bay so it won't mess with your original four. You can never sell it, so you will always have a mech. You will be able to sell lasers and missiles. Oh and it has a 300XL engine you might be able to use at some point and BAP if you need it on another mech.

Only thing is that you won't get it until the new patch. However, it is still an idea so you won't have to worry about this in the future. And of course you would be donating to a good cause.

I think it would actually show up after the next server-side patch, which happens twice a week, iirc.

Well in the mean time there's trial mechs. But do not, ever, sell your mech without first getting another. Since the unlock system requires you to own 3 at the time you go to make the unlocks happen, it isn't a good idea even if you could sell what you have in stock.

Think this is the first time I've heard of this instance happening. I'll make sure to include it on my list of things to warn people about.

Yeah I never wanted to mention it but I spent a few weeks with a bunch of useless Ballistic Weapons having sold the one chassis I had that used them.
