Ecm And Taking Damage?

Should ECM units have a chance of bei g disrupted temporarily when their mech takes damage?

The shaking and rattling of taking damage should have a chance to make the ECM module need to reset itself. Maybe a 5% change when hit to be shut off for 10 seconds while it resets itself?

And energy weapons could increase that chance to 10%.

They are delicate pieces of electronics and should be vulnerable to shaking and electrical discharges.

There are already several counters to ECM. Being BAP, TAG, NARC, PPC's and just range. they dont need more
