I know this is a pretty huge change, but think about the possibilities.

Right now, we all know the maps in and out. We all know the best routes and we all know the one sector on the map where the teams usually meet for a fight.

How about splitting a map then rearranging the pieces into a new map, every time anew for each match?
Yes, this is tricky and it would require a lot of work, but there are several degrees to which this could be done:

- The map could be randomized by simply cutting it up and rearranging the parts of the map.
(Would work for Alpine Peaks, Caustic Valley...)

- The map could be randomized by keeping most of it in place and switching some dedicated buildings/hills around randomly.
(Would work for River City, Tourmaline, Canyon Network)

- The map could be randomized as a whole by stitching tiny pieces together that are all random, but adjusted to each other to keep the height-differences acceptable. Think of a landscape of endless "Rolling Hills" that is never the same for two matches.

The maps wouldn't be always fair, but then again, who said war is fair?

Nope. Too much effort, space for yet more map bugs, and loss of coherent map design.

The amount of work that goes into each map is massive. I don't think you get how hard it is.

Your idea would be cool, but it is unfortunately completely unfeasible.

I think they should totally randomize the starting points based off one of five conquest bases. Take Caustic for example. Gamma and Sigma are the two drop points. Make it so you can drop at any of them, including Theta. Luck of the draw and there are risks and open areas.... But it would add a new dynamic to the game. Imagine if one team dropped on Kappa and the other at Theta...

Alternatively, they could make very large maps, then section off pieces of it to make several battlefields. You would still be playing in Canyon Network or Tourmaline Desert etc, but what was on the edge of the map last time round might be in the centre.
