Mechwarrior Online at its original core design emphasized one thing above all: Teamwork.
Many times as a new player or even with plenty of experience we will forget this fact. So here's a friendly reminder of how much more fun it is when you work together.

Please tell me that was an enemy!
So did that Cataphract's Pilot have fun getting killed in 3 seconds do you think?
(I have to ask cause of the conversation we are having in he Alpha/pin point threads.)
FYI... That was AWSOME!

Was responding to this when my computer fried. Enemy cataphract. We flanked and snuck up on them while they were playing "sniper" and fire support against our brawlers keeping them at bay.
For balancing discussions,
Spoiler
Liquid was the 'arm' in the video as the 4SP.

Here's a longer version. The camera man was Lordred, and the other Hunch 4P was Christopher King. I was the 4G.
The great thing is, a larger team working together can overpower even a 4 man premade. So again, teamwork is crucial in this game. Work together. If someone offers to give commands, cooperate. If they were bad, just remember the name and don't go for it with that person leading next time. If they were good, well that's a great experience for you. Through ATD answers they have been considering throwing rewards for people following orders and those giving them.

Yes, I keep looking for some sign that I shot the enemy before I went down.

I need to do better, to roll with you guys!
(My engine wasn't fast enough to keep up with the group, but I fixed it since then.)
Just as we flanked the opposing Cataphract, all those Jagermechs flanked us when they were done with the PUGers.
P.S.: Kon, how are you so speedy in your 4G???

Standard 240 engine. Combined weight of non AC/20 guns: 2 tons. (2 smalls + 2 MGs). 1 ton MG ammo. 1 DHS. Rest goes into AC/20 ammo and armor.
This guy was in the video.

This one is my favorite once the ghost heat penalty for stagger firing is gone.

I think this pertains to the topic of teamwork:
I just watched a PUG team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory because they went different directions.
This was AFTER fending off an attack on our base, which could have been even more successful except for people splitting up on the way back to base, and the bozo who went AFK.
Everyone was standing on the base wondering what to do next, and we were ahead by 1 kill. I (posthumously) wrote that they should stick together. The Atlases went one way and everyone else went another. The Atlases got split up, in effect, because they went significantly different speeds (Hint: If you make an Atlas slower than stock, you fail.)
