Have a "Go to Store" or "Go to Mech Dealer" door or taxi added, where we go to see the mechs for sale and also the marketing for hero mechs and such.

Make it immersive like a real mech dealer would be with some hotty modeling and/or narrating the latest mech The original Natasha Kerensky comes to mind.

By immersive, a screen back ground for starters would still be great rather than nothing.

If there is strictly faction mechs these stores could be more basic looking for each faction at base.

They could even add 2 stores, one budget,run down and scrap yard like, and the other premium and very nice.
