The LRM nerf is temporary it is a result of the April 5th patch that for some reason gave LRMs an insane amount of splash damage they will be tweaked again in the near future. There was a hot fix that lowered the damage to what we have now.
A fun build I am using with my stalker 3f.
I got sick of the overheat fest with the large alpha strike stalker fits, since shutting down mid brawl was what seemed to always kill me.I decided to try and make a build that allowed continuous damage output with out having to pay nearly as much attention to your heat. Also i wanted to be effective at all ranges Funny enough i realized that this build was close to the stalker 3f stock load out.
DHS 22
STD 300
6 Medium Lasers
2 LRM 10
2 SRM 4
Weapons group 1 the 3 left medium lasers
Weapons group 2 the 3 right medium lasers
Weapons group 3 srm 4
Weapons group 4 LRM 10s
Weapons group 5 the 3 medium lasers on the right set to chain fire. I do only 3 since it allows me to shoot and cool down also one my heat gets lower i know i can fire all 3 medium lasers on my left and have them all available
Weapons group 6 srm 4 chain fire in case i am really hot.
At 56 firepower this build is only shy 4 damage of the 6 ppc stalker but is way more manageable with heat. When people are in that sweet range of 270m all my weapons can bare down on them. For long range the two LRM 10s do well enough damage even with the current nerf and allows you to soften them up before they get to you. Having the medium lasers split up into two group is great for heat management. Fire all six when you are low on heat but then you can start spacing them out more as you heat up. The SRM 4s just add that nice extra punch up close when needed.

I'm a huge fan of the Stalker and have come up with many many builds. However, I've never tried this one and it seems to work pretty well. Personally, I prefer regular large lasers to save weight for a STD300. Do you have more success when breaking off from your team to flank, or when you stick with the main group? I'm curious to see which is most effective. Thanks for your videos.

If I am dropping alone I tend to flank or try and get behind them as my mech is quite fast for an assault, once behind them it's 3 shot death for anything including an atlas.
If I am dropping with 3 m8's then we stick together and it's lethal when focus firing, it's just a great allrounder.
